I recently ordered two review guides for the CPA exam. I ordered the Bisk Review for the BEC portion of the test because it looked like a comprehensive study guide for this section and because they offered a supplemental study cd (according to sales literature). I received two copies of the cd after ordering online. Both copies were defective and unusable so I threw them out – disappointing but no cost to me. I have gotten about halfway through the study guide and it is also disappointing in several ways. There are study questions that I answered incorrectly and in the answer review, the editors state that the correct answer on the CPA exam was “a” but they added another answer, “e”, that they think is more accurate. I think it would be more helpful to study based on the answers that the CPA exam uses, not the subjective extra answers that Bisk adds. However, the biggest problem with this book is that the interior is completely messed up. As I was reviewing my answers to the fourth chapter, I found that I was missing the pages for about half of the questions. The next three chapters are all jumbled up and I’m not sure how I will be able to piece them together to make them usable. As this item took a long time to ship to me, I don’t have time to return and send for a new copy, so I will rely more on the Wiley Exam Review that I also purchased. I had planned to buy the Bisk review for other CPA sections if I liked it but after this experience, I will not buy another Bisk review. The questions are very similar to the Wiley review which is not defective. I only give this book 2 stars because the sections that were usable were okay for studying but it is unfortunately incomplete.

The book was in a good condition, and I was also satisfied with the price.
