Cheapest Portable MP3 Player: Can you actually find them today?
Everybody these days knows what an mp3 player is because they are all the craze. It’s hard to find somebody that doesn’t own one. They come in many different sizes and shapes and range from players with memory only to player with hard drives. Some are far more portable than others. They also come in many prices ranges depending upon what you are looking for. I will go over exactly what to look for when you are trying to purchase the cheapest portable mp3 player.
What type of mp3 player should you pick? Do you want one that is portable with a little bit of memory or one that is a little more bulky with tons of mp3 space? This really depends on your needs because most memory based mp3 players can only hold up to 250 songs. What do you do if you have more songs than that?
Well you can always go for the hard drive option. Most hard drive players have at least 2 GB worth of space which equates to around 500 songs and that is just where they start. They go way up from their.
Which are more portable? Well that also depends on you. If you want something that will clip on your clothing while you are running then I would go with a memory based mp3 player. Because these players don’t have moving parts they can make them much much smaller then you run of the mill hard drive based player.
If you can but the mp3 player in your pocket then the hard drive based player is the best way to go. This is simply because you can store tons more songs and there are models out today that have a very slim profile such as the Microsoft Zune player and IPod Touch. You can also find either used models on eBay or older last years models at highly discounted rates.
Another thing to keep in mind when looking for a portable mp3 player is the weight. If you are primarily looking for a memory based player then this will not be a factor at all. Most of the memory based players are less then half a pound. Some just weigh a few ounces. When looking at a hard drive based player their are quite a few of these that can weight over a couple of pounds. Just keep that in mind when searching for one that you check the weight because if you are trying to run and you have a player that weights a few pounds in you pocket you could end up running out of you pants literally.
And last but not least I would look at the dimensions of the player. If you are running you don’t want some big 7×5 players that will make you look like you didn’t have you v8 today. Just make sure that you check the size of the player before purchasing because it is sometimes though to figure out how big a player is just from a picture. You could go into retail store and pick out the size that is best for you then go to my site and find the exact one you want at a highly discounted rate.
In closing there are many different types of mp3 players out on the market. What you should get depends on you. For activity use I would recommend any memory based player because of the size, weight, and portability. But if you just want to take your music with you then go for the hard drive based player because you should be able to fit that great mp3 collection you have on it.
