First off, on mine, all the buttons and metal battery tabs
looked fine, and it takes AA and AAA batteries with no problem,
you just have to put them in right.

But when I tried to use the "Current" button to set how fast it changed,
at first it didn't seem to do anything, but later, I was able to get it
to cycle through choices of "100", "250" and "350". The directions say
it should have said "200", "500" and "700".

So fortunately Amazon let me return it, with no shipping
changes. I'll try to order another one later, and hope that
it'll work right.

The instructions need a LOT of work, hard to understand.
It'll easily take you
several times of trying to read them to figure out how the buttons
work, putting batteries in and trying it, then going back to the
instructions again, but eventually you'll figure it out.

It seems to do an excellent job though. I put in four AAA on
"Refresh" mode, and it took about a Day and a half for all
four to finish.

UPDATE:

I ordered another one.. and the same thing happens, you get half the values they say you should see, when you try to use the Current
button.

But, other than that, it seems to "work" fine, so I'm not going to return it. I put a AAA in on Discharge, and it was done it no time.

I bought this product though it is an older version. But it works pretty good.I havent gotten to understand its advanced features. But I will.I think it gives you total control over getting rid of memory in the batteries and then recharging them.IT CAME ON TIME AND IT WORKS

while the shipping was much faster than expected the item does not fit AA size when it was expressly written it did so in the ad.
am unsure if it is a product probelm with assembly or shipping problem or just what.

This is not the same Charger that is $45. No batteries included and lower quality

BC900 comes with 4 AA and 4 AAA batteries, a case and 4C and 4D converter holders... plus the BC900 is a better charger. In my opinion the best battey charger ever made. This is a weak imitation
